Today we took the North Africa Test.
Then we reviewed all of European History up to the Enlightenment then watched this youtube video to see what happened in France next.

Then we learned about European Exploration and Colonization with this powerpoint and using our timeline to take notes.

Martin Luther: German Monk that disagreed with the Catholic interpretation of the Bible, espeically the sale of indulgences. He believe thaty only through faith can one be saved. He wrote 95 Thesis trying to reform the Church. Eventually he was excommunicated from the Church and started his own Protestant church.

Then we answered the following questions in our NEW green European History Notes paper from the history textbook.

Use complete sentences to answer the following questions.
1. What were the Crusades?
2. What was the main goal of the Crusades?
3. How many Crusades were discussed in the book and how many years total were the Crusades? (From the first Crusade to the last)
4. List 4 effects of the Crusades.
After we discussed how the Crusades led to the rebirth of art and learning in Europe called the Renaissance.
We watched part of a youtube video about the birthplace of the Renaissance. Rick Steve's Florence: Heart of the Renaissance.
